DAY 2

The following days

So after 4 hour trip in the bus we arrivied in Vermont, Brattleboro - SIT World Learning International Campus. Even though I was all way long sleeping; I got out of the bus like a zombie, noticing only the cold. The only thing I remember was asking for additional blanket. Scarcely found out the way to my room and headed to my bed. It was not easy to sleep, too. You may say and think the reason was the campus was overcrowded and noisy. Not at all the only thing what hindered was the extreme deafening silence. (Now I know exactly, I will miss this sound). The next morning I started adaptation. I found out the way to the bathroom. ( it was just to the next door :D LOL) I felt excited and a little bit frightened. My roommate and I went to the dining room. Actually it was a nice big building full of nice smiling faces, which unfortunately I do not often see in my country. (But you know, we have the reason) I saw all kind of berries and the feeling of fear disappeared in a second. I was on the safe side, I wonna got die of hunger. :D We had enough time to walk a little and explore surrounding, too. As usually we could not lose the chance of taking several photos (talking about several, means at each bush :P LOL) At last at 9 o’clock the meeting started. 30 teachers were listening to a nice gentleman, who had a very good manner of talking mixing the humor with everything a little :) It was Neil O’Flaherty. And he introduces all the people to us. The names dear readers you should remember are - Andrew Dick – or Accidental Andy , Radmila Popovic – or Radical Radiation. We should not forget another name too _ Fahim – our key, bank and all documentations :P :D After a little introductory the session started with a nice warmer “Adjectives”, now u can easily understand why Accidental or Radical Radiation, oh by the way, I am Kind :) Later we covered the interesting topic “moving from teachers to trainers” I went to bed in a better mood than it was on a previous day.

The beginning of my story

There is a very good proverb or quote by Lao Tzu "A journey of a thousand miles begines with a single step, we do start our great journey with a lot of jokes and of cource the first step, too. Now I am on the second step of our journey and we are in the huge Munich airport, waiting for our flight to the USA. Some teachers are exited some exhausted, others just roaming indifferently. Some just try to kill the that time in the shops. But the most important is that in all of their mind is ONE idea, one thought _ America. I will start telling the story of my trip with an answering the most frequently asked question ;) how do you fell about it? (if my new friends Jo and Bill somehow read this post,they will understand me :) ) So the very first experience in this airport is not very pleasant I feel :) OK- I ask myself - why can't I have an internet access in my smart phone to write my post here and post some funny pics, But do it in the business center?! but when I think about Tomorrow , I am getting so exited. now some information about our plane :) (Airline, Manufacturer, Type) Airbus A340-600 Technical specification for Lufthansa (LH) Abbreviation acc. to IATA / ICAO 346 / A346 Length 75,3 m Height 17,3 m Wing span 63,5 m Number of engines 4 MTOW (maximum takeoff weight) 368000 Seats 306 As you see it is huge :D My dinner :) But fortunatly it brought us on the land of dreams safely. :) Will continue in the next post follow me please :)
